Sensing Forms is an ongoing series that investigates mass animal deaths that have been increasing on the planet in recent years as a result of climate change.  Working with the form of an oval shaped satellite dish as a metaphor for a form that both transmits and receives, mass animal deaths are scratched out of a critical zone of color painted on found images of ecosystems and climate zones, pointing to the urgent need to bring our awareness to their existence and relevance as intra-connected events and not just isolated moments.  The series is an homage to the vulnerable and the living on earth who are dying as a result of a destructive and anthropocentric worldview.
